6400M HDMI connector. What are we missing?

in FLEX-6000 Signature Series

I am posting this for a friend. His preloved 6400M's HDMI output is not working. He has tried two different brand new monitors and two different HDMI cables. None work. Neither monitor was recognized in the Advanced Display settings. What are we missing?

    Hardware issue. It’s headed back to Flex.
