6600 Fan Speed

I have incorporated a node to display the fan speed of my 6600. Does any one know how fast the fan can spin (rpm)? Usually it runs about 800- 900 rpm.

Thanks,

Mick, W8BE

I figured it out.. According to the meter list, the max speed is 8192 rpm.

8192 is a magic number - that is exactly 8K, or an unsigned 14 bit number. I don't think the fan will really spin even half that fast, but that is how large the variable that holds it is.

I am showing mine is running at 1004 RPM. The fan will speed up if the temperature in the radio heats up.

Mick, call me later and we can debug your Node Red flow. I sent a detailed email last night outlining how I debugged the radio meters.
