Maestro update

in SmartSDR for Maestro and M models

Just arrived at winter home(Florida and the Maestro wants update. I use ver 2.6 with laptop and at home(Philadelphia, Pa.). I cannot update the radio remotely OR CAN I? Need the assistance of the community. I have a laptop there i can remotely control that does not have any version of smart SDR on it at all. Nothing else is available.


Please let me know if there is a way.

    Hi Steve, the requirement to update is the ability to directly key the radio. The idea is that an update takes a physical presence at the radio to prevent fraud. So if you have a remote switch connected to the Flex PTT or key line, you would be able to remotely update it. There are numerous threads here where various solutions are discussed, hopefully one will work for you.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
