Is SSDR 1.12.1 SD-card Safe?

As the CW keying defect keeps hitting me over and over again, it makes me sound like a very poor CW op not even capable to sent my own call correctly, I really need to downgrade the s/w. As Tim acknowledged the defect he suggested that the remedie would be go down to 2.49 (that was from 2.6.1, I am now on 2.6.2) but currently appears not to be considered safe with the newly found SD card problems. So my question is: Is it safe to down-grade to 1.12.1?

As far as I know, all the versions for download on the server are "SD Card Safe". Flex removed the versions with issues so you can't download them. 2.4.9 is still there, so you should be good.

That is correct.  V1 firmware does not have the SDIO issue.

Please note we are planning to release a follow up to 2.4.9  (currently 2.4.10) that corrects the SDIO issue for customers that prefer to operate using that release.  It is nearly ready for alpha testing and provided all goes well there, you can expect it shortly after Field Day.

Dan, thank you for the answer. I'll see if I manage to hold out for the 2.4.10
