I know the Flex 6400 to Acom 600s cable topic has been hashed out and I have found the information on how to make each version work with custom cables. My question is directed at performance of CAT vs BDC.

Can any one fill me in on which might be better or articulate reasons of why to use one over the other? I am going to buy new cable to mod into the custom cable, now to choose which method would be best.

Thank you for your time and consideration, 73

One is not better then the other, flex just supports both methods to make it as compatible as they can with all the equipment out in the world. Bret
