IOS Transmit Issues

Hi Dwayne, My first shot when I got my 6400 had very bad audio as well. Turns out I had the mic gain way too high. When I use my Android phone or my laptop remotely, I have to adjust the mic gain differently from the FHM-3 mic plugged into the radio. Might want to check to see that you are not overdriving things as a first troubleshooting step.

I have been struggling. Looks like IOS is also causing my radio to crash. I switched to a laptop running SDR and so far all good! Audio is excellent. I logged a support case with Flex and see what they have to say.... v3.1.12.0

i use the IOS on my iphone a lot, you can start with the default IOS setting in SDR but will need to tweak a little, people cant honestly tell the difference between the IOS app and sitting at my station. after tweaking and you think its right, be sure to save the mic profile! JMO!0

Definitely no luck but the remote crashes have put a stop to my testing until I get home - Seems like the radio crash is associated with disconnect/logging off from IOS app. I have reverted to my laptop and SmartSDR which is working perfectly from the same location.0

I have Things running on the Newest (at the time) 11" Pro Ipad. I too had many problems with the audio in the beginning with it, but the main thing is you are going to have to work with your audio and EQ settings a LOT more then I did when I had it on my older 12.9" Pro.
Seemed it was plug and play, and everyone said I sounded great, think it only had 1 mic in it, and the newer 11" has two, so that could have some to do with it, (Might be mistaken on this, as I don't use it that much) but it did take some time with playing with the output level, and with the EQ transmit settings but have it sounding pretty good now from what all say.
I found one of the best ways is to go to one of the online SDR services, and put some headphones on, and listen to yourself, that might help out some.
