Updating SmartLink Account Password

Member ✭✭
edited May 2020 in SmartSDR for Windows
I need to change the password on my SmartLink account. The radio on the account is located 300 miles away. I cannot be at the radio to register and unregister and locally PTT the mic on the radio for a few months. How do I gain access to my account to make this simple change that is similar to any other account that I use?

Currently, there are three types of SmartLink logins.  The "email" login and two social media logins using Facebook and Google.  If your account is one of the social media types of logins, you use the password change processes for Facebook and Google.  if you are using the email login, there is an option to reset the password from the SmartLink login screen.

Tim, this must be a well hidden item. When I look at the Smartlink login screen there are no options or buttons offered to change the password. Could you provide more specifics about how to access the old password / new password option? All that is shown is “Don’t remember your password?”

Thank you. That does allow for the ability to change the password, even when you did not forget it. I appreciate the support.
