Flex SSB messages

Another SSB contest and I am full of frustration.
I configured N1MM to play my messages.

I can play and hear my messages with VOX button OFF !
How I suppose to hear my messages and work QSO with VOX OFF?
Should I turn VOX ON and OFF every time I have to say something beyond my pre-recorded messages?

Any tip here?

Thank you for reply, I was taking my time to do more research and look for alternative method to play my messages.
Unfortunately FLEX does not provide a way to play recorded messages during DX-ing when I have to repeat my call sign many times or during contests, that take fun out of using 6600 in SSB mode.
The reason for that thread is not to complain but learn from other members how do they use they FLEX radio for DX-ing and/or contesting in SSB.

Last week during ARRL SSB contest I tried to use K9DUR Voice Keyer.
It is not possible to use it with N1MM as K9DUR window should be active in order to play massages. 
On the plus side VOX and DAX worked together with K9DUR, on the negative side, I have to click Functions button twice (???) on K9DUR to play my message. Also, after each message I play on K9DUR i have to move and click mouse either on N1MM QSO entry window or K9DUR, that it make very unpractical and tired.

Any other known methods to play Voice messages with activated VOX and DAX?

I know and waiting for the fix.

As I said before I would like to learn how others using Flex in SSB.
May be someone found another way, another device or method.
