SmartLink - Can I control Maestro with N1MM+ in version 2.6.1

Want to control N1MM+ locally next to Maestro for a CW contest.  Not sure it is possible with V2.6.1
I do it remote but I get no sidetone and delay makes timing TX/RX difficult if 200-300ms latency connection.

    Yes, it works fine for me with my Maestro using WinKeyer emulation.

    I open N1MM+ on my laptop.  Started SmartSDR v2.6.1, DAX and CAT. 
    Made same CAT Com7 (Serial Slice A N1MM+Logger),
    Comm8 (N1MM+Logger Serial Slice A process N1MM+Logger
    and Winkeyer Com9 (N1MM+Logger) as I have at Home.
    Then in N1MM+,  I configured the same three ports, (copied what I have at home).
    When I leave the Config tab and go back to Config tab (in N1MM) all my setups are erased.
    What am I doing wrong?
