I adjust audio gain, DAX TX gain, audio level in the remote server, but i can't get a good audio. Any ideas? I'm using the android APP in the client side. Thanks. 73 de CT1HXB - Joel

Try calling RadioSport the makers of worlds best headset and mic0

Joe, i'm using my smartphone. The problem is not with the mic. I had RCforb with TS-590s and work fine. I believe is some problem with DAX.0

I am doing the same thing with my 6300 here and I have been running most levels at about 60%. If the server audio looks right and the DaxTX isn't too hot, then perhaps the mic level in the android app is a bit hot, back away from the phone just a touch and see if that helps. Depending on the device, that can change quite a bit. The audio device is set at default on my Android phone. The tx audio and rx audio in the server are set at approx 85%

I heard in a websdr and look like a robot. Really weird. I sound the same with my headset and Windows software. With smartlink and the same headset os ok. I think is something in DAX Processing. I think i have to buy a iPhone.0

I use Remote Hams, Client and Server. I have only used it with Icoms. But its helpful to listen to yourself with another receiver. RCForb has audio controls, so does your Flex and your computer.0

I had a similar problem here. It seems that budget phone MICs aren't very good. I swiched to a year old flagship phone & the reports got better.
Finally, I set the SmartSDR EQ as shown in the screenshot below & the poor audio reports ended.

I use the phone mic and my PC headset. Same problem with both. My headset work fine with smartlink but not with RCforb. I tryed several configurations in RCforb audio, in flexradio áudio, um PC audio but allways with bad results. I really think is something with DAX.0

No need to run DAX for this. I don't even install it any more as it used to be so troublesome. Try the EQ in SmartSDR as shown in the lower right of my screenshot. It will stick when you use RCForb. It worked for me.0

It worked for me. By the way, I wire audio both ways from the radio to the PC. This would eliminate DAX as the culprit.0

I'll try that. I think the problem is DAX. Thank you0

Joel, Be careful, my early date 6300 didn't match the Flex documentation regarding the AUX port pin for audio out. It was grounded. I used the 3.5mm audio jack instead. Later 6300s may have fixed this discrepancy. Audio in worked fine.0
