pgxl utility questions.

I notice there are differences between the front of the PGXL display and the PGXL Utility program display why?
No Metta displayed on the program yet on the PGXL it shows up.
There also might be a red Peak line missing as well.
On a side note I seem to get more RF on 20, 40, & 80M then previously anyone else experiencing this issue?
Power switch mine feels Spring loaded in the center position not sure why when it's just Off or On???
Don't get me wrong I think the Amp is fantastic.

Ian - I've confirmed that neither SSDR nor the PG-XL provide a peak wattage indication (Red Peak), only average power is indicated. I'm hoping to see a future software upgrade add the Peak Wattage reading feature.
Three position power switch? The rear power switch on my PG-XL does feel spring loaded but it only has an on or off position, although the switch does start to make contact before it clicks fully into the on position.

K4HR thanks for responding to these questions.
I suspect there will be Utility improvements in the future I sure hope they make the fans quieter.

I couldn't use the amp in the same room even with Bose noise cancelling headphones (I tried it a a corner surrounded by sound insulation) ...so my only solution was to locate it outside the shack. Fortunately I had a small weather safe enclosure like a doghouse just outside. That works great and the amp runs a lot cooler. Mainly because I'm a t 8800 ft ASL in Colorado. Now I don't hear the fans at all. So I'm lucky in that regard. So now waiting not so patiently for utility upgrades to include red peak line on the output power.0

In the SSB Mode I've found both the PG-XL's front panel display and the PG-XL Utility watt meter readings too inaccurate to provide any useful information. As I mentioned above these are suppose to be providing Average power reading but I suspect the power sampling may be too slow to provide even average power accuracy in the SSB mode. Hopefully 4o3A is working on a fix. Ideally it would be nice to be able to view accurate peak readings, especially considering this Amp can easily exceed legal limit.
I'm currently using a Telepost LP-700 Digital Station Monitor to monitor my PG-XL's peak and average power readings. It works great.
