Remote Off/On circuit doesn't work

I can not get the Flex 6400 to turn on by shorting the RCA remote socket on the back of the radio.  It was working until I moved the radio from Kentucky to Florida.  There is power to the radio.  The radio turns on with the button on the front.

    Have you activated it by going into the 6400 settings menu under radio setup , radio tab and enable the Remote On feature?

    Thanks for your quick and accurate response.  The remote on feature was disabled.

    Laptop and cwskimmer for cw. Laptop for other digital like ft8. This is all when remote with maestro. Don’t think I stated that very well. 6400m home base. I believe the remote feature is on. K6DDS
