Reciever on 6400

Why when I cut on my 6400 the receiver is on, but I must click the tune for just a second for the receiver to come alive . Any idea why this is ?

    If I understand what your asking about what do you have the Antenna port connected through before it get's to the Antenna, for instance  Antenna tuner's, Antenna Switch's etc.?

    Does your radio have the built in Antenna tuner installed? 
    Just need a bunch more info before anyone may be able to help you.

    no built in ant tuner, from 6400>amplifier> external tuner>Delta antenna switch.. This happens when  i load SDR software.
