Hi everyone,
I'm not here for a problem but to tell my story. In the last ten years I have had Kenwood 850/870 and Yaesu 5000MP. I've always been interested in FlexRadio but I was always intrigued by the SDR technology but doubtful. With the release of the new Yauesu FT 101 I wanted to take the step towards SDR and I must say that with Yaesu 5k MP I found myself very well especially I who tend to do CW. ... but Flex has always been outstanding. I was about to reserve the new 101 MP, soon to be released, and I happened to be at a presentation of FlexRadio Italia (I live on the border with Italy and my mother tongue is Italian). The presentation was held by Adriano Basile, CIO of FlexRadio Italia, and after having been able to see and hear Flex I no longer had any doubts, I ordered the 6400 with Maestro. For questini of closeness and language I have preferred to command it in Italy and, then I explain it, today I am very happy.
Today, after a few weeks I would like to comment.
FlexRadio not being the "usual" radio is not conceptually intuitive like a Kenwood or a Yaesu, it is necessary to enter into another philosophy of thought. This beginning is quite difficult especially if, as it is for me, you are not used to thinking with computers and programs but you go to keys and "simple" menus. But in this philosophy one gradually enters.
FlexRadio ... drugged me. It's amazing how you get used to seeing the frequency on the screen. Before I worked in CW at 300Hz during the contests while now it's normal, the tone is clean and without compressions, the TNF is magical and who knows what I still have to find out.
All this just to say that I am an enthusiastic owner of a 6400 FlexRadio but I also wanted to thank Tim, Norbert, Andriano, Andrea Cavestri and all the FlexRadio Italia team for their understanding and support.

Congratulations!!! I have had my 6600M for a year now and still learning more things every week! I think LEARNING can be fun if the subject matter is interesting.. That is why I love FLEX, it keeps my 71 year old Brain stimulated!!!

Spot on Robert. I will be 80yo next year and my 6yo 6700 is still stimulating my brain, although time will tell which of the two will be the ultimate survivor!1
