FLmsg question

I have separate instances of FLdigi operating on two bands (panafalls) - slice A and slice B respectively - on my 6400.  SSDR 2.4.9  Thanks to all those who  made rigcat tools and directions available.

Now I would like to have separate instances of FLmsg - one communicating with FLdigi slice A and the other with FLdigi slice B.  I have tried many variations of the launcher command line switches that I have found on this site and others to no avail.  Whichever FLdigi slice I launch first is the only one that I can get either FLmsg to communicate with.

If anyone has managed to get separate instances of FLmsg to communicate with FLdigi slice A and B, respectively, I would appreciate seeing the launcher command switch settings that you use.

    I use 4 instances and it works just fine when you use the correct command switches of --config-dir and separate directories for each config. There are several good info sites for this out there

    Thanks for the links.  I have successfully set up separate instances of FLdigi on Slice A and Slice B using the command switch.

    Have you been able to set up separate instances of FLmsg, one that works only with FLdigi Slice A and the other that works only with FLdigi Slice B?  If so, could you post the Target path details that you have set up in FLdigi and FLmsg launchers that makes this work?

    In each instance of FLDigi go to Config and IO, unlock these settings. You will need to set the ports of XML to match each instance of FLMSG (which needs to be set with different port #'s.

    The command switch for FLMSG is         --flmsg-dir

    Thanks for the assist, Gary.  With your help I have had success setting up two separate instances of FLdigi/FLmsg - one for Slice A and the other for Slice B.
