Smart SDR V1.5.1 . What advantage to upgrade with my 6500 and what can I upgrade to without a license. What is cost of license?

Version 3 license costs $199 (US) and includes all current v2.x upgrades. You can download and pay here:

There are several versions of 1.x between 1.5.1 and 2.x
I wonder why they removed them from the website?

I'll gladly pay for an upgrade when they come out with a
version with actual radio improvements. Not interested
in remote operation.

So between my version and version 3, mainly just remote operation and bug fixes?
No major radio improvements ? Stay where I am and save $200 ?

Thanks Bob, but that is the one I am presently using on my 6300.
I downloaded the others as they became available and have
them saved in several places.

look through all the change logs for version 2 and see if any interest you, if you upgrade now for $199 you will get all the updates clear up to Ver 3 *** Version 4 will be anther $199.00

Ed - the major upgrade for v2 was Remote Operation (SmartLink), and for v3 is Multi-Client Operation (MultiFlex), although many other changes and fixes were incorporated along the way. You can read about them below.

The others will give erudite answers....I paused a long time too...but the V2 is worth it. I bought for remote capability, however, it just works better....smoother than the 1.XX versions. Yeah, subjective, but it just works better....my guess is you can easily "waste" (for lack of a better word) $200....this isn't a waste...just works better...IMO. 73 es Aloha. Bill
