flexcontrol chrashes smart sdr

Getting this error, and smartsdr loks up .If i unplug flexconrol all is ok but no flexcontrol of course

    Geir,

    I'd make two suggestions:
    1. Load SmartSDR 2.4.9 on a different computer and test the FlexKnob there. If it works you know there is an issue with the original computer's USB port, software, or USB port.

    2. Try the FlexKnob on the original computer where it is not working using a different USB port.

    The FlexKnob is a very mature piece of software and unlikely to cause this error.

    Please let us know the results.

    The most likely cause is a USB port conflict. Mack’s #2 suggestion addresses this.

    have tried it direct but no luck tried it on the backup computer  no luck there either
    will try i complete reinstall to se
