WPS Password Entry In Maestro

I had to replace my router which resulted in my Maestro requesting the LAN PW. The initial time I did it it it took me a good half a dozen times to accomplish this simple task as I have a lengthy PW.
After some use the touchy screen is even touchier frequently repeating characters.
The problem is one does not know if this happens as the visibility of the entry is locked out except for a momentary glimpse of the entry which is easily missed.
This is very frustrating!!!!
Why can't we have WPS PW entry as it would solve a lot of frustration for the average user.
In the least the entry should be visible until entry is complete as this would show the errors. Currently the only way we know is by being rejected.
Searching the past comments I noticed that this issue was pointed out 2 years ago. Can't this be resolved!
