Maestro as wireless router for DAX and CAT.

I have been trying different configurations of Maestro 6500 and digital mode client. For portable and mobile use. Internet may be poor, expensive or non existent.

I have an old ADSL modem WIFI router LANed to the 6500 and WIFIed to Maestro and PC.

What about the Maestro WIFI acting as a router for DAX and CAT so I can simplify the setup and just connect the 6500 to Maestro with a LAN cable and get DAX and CAT on the PC by WIFI?

Audio from radio is to Maestro speaker and to DAX on PC... ... How would you handle a complex multi-Flex, -Maestro, -PC LAN for DAX and CAT traffic? [I'm guessing ... If via wireless. that happens especially if you are on a 2.4G wifi as it is a very busy band. .... Maestro as wireless router for DAX and CAT.
