Options
I am feeling frustrated trying to interface my Flex-3000 with "Winlink Express" software using a pactor SCS PTCIIpro.  Winmor not of interest.

I have read and studied Flex information on the web repeatedly.

Any step by step help/procedures appreciated.  73, Jack, N1BIC

Make sure you lower your audio buffer sizes to reduce turnaround latency . This will increase you CPU usage through, try not to go over 60% cpu usage. Are you getting it to send OK, just not getting recognized by the responder? Dudley

    Please post your setup here:
    - What kind of cable are you using between your PC and the SCS PTCIIpro?
    - What are you using, a PC or a notebook?
    - Your PC to PTC connector? RS232 direct or RS232 to USB adapter?

    1. You'll need a good connection to the SCS RS232. Not all adapters work.
    2. The audio /PTT cable between the SCS and the Flex3000 connects to the FlexWire. I built it myself.
    3. On the Flex-3000 setup you must choose the FlexWire connector

    Hope this helps.
