Hamcation Announcement

Martin, that is just an approved package of hardware. The phrase "digital protocol" to me seems something major and quite specific. At the risk of provoking more version 3 discussions, perhaps the pending announcement has something to do with the release of a new major SmartSDR release version 3, I am speculating. And if that major release were to include muti-cliient it may have taken a change in the digital protocol in order to facilitate. Again, I'm a speculating.
Make sense to me that FRS would do a major announcement at Hamcation 2019 and releasing version 3 or a version 2 update certainly is due and would be an appropriate venue for the announcement. Since it's just 2 weeks away, we won't have long to find out.
