Hi All
I'm looking for solution how to use my Flex 6600M with the Bonito RadioCom 6 Software.
https://www.bonito.net/hamradio/en/radiocom-6/

Bonito told me, that they must have the API from Flex to delevop the software interface for there software RadioCom 6.

Please get in touch with Mr. Dennis Walter dennis.office@bonito.net from Bonito in order to inform him about the APIs.

Thank you ver much

    You'll find information here:
    http://wiki.flexradio.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
    and the API: https://www.flexradio.com/downloads-api/

But why use RadioCom and not fldigi?

It's a nice looking program, to be sure, and I tried it with my TS2000X  in my pre-Flex days and I got rid of it as soon as I found out about fldigi, which is almost as good - and free.

The downside is, that to run Bonito RadioCom6 you need a "switchbox", which is some hardware gizmo controlling your radio and - a dongle! Who else produces software nowadays with a dongle- and a rs232 one at that - as copy protection?

The SmartSDR API is what you need and it is described starting here: http://wiki.flexradio.com/index.php?title=Main_Page. I may be a little biassed but I suggest that my API Primer is a good place to start. I also recommend downloading the latest FlexLib library at https://www.flexradio.com/downloads/flexlib_api_v2-4-9-zip which can be mined for examples of how to write to the API.

It may be worth adding a clarification here.

The 6xxx radios provide a native low level "Ethernet API", which is described at http://wiki.flexradio.com/index.php?title=Main_Page. Writing to that API requires a fair amount of interface management code and offers total control over all aspects of the radio's operation.

The "FlexLib API" at https://www.flexradio.com/downloads/flexlib_api_v2-4-9-zip interfaces to the Ethernet API and deals with the low level interface issues. It presents control methods to the application and returns events to notify the application of changes in radio status.

Whether a developer chooses to program to the Ethernet API directly or via FlexLib is a matter of personal preference. I decided to program to the Ethernet API because I was up for the technical challenge.

    Hello to All
Thank you very much for your help and advise. I will try to connect my Flex 6600M over the TS2000 protocol. Maybe this will work.
