no audio output to speakers connected to my 6700 on quickplayback when trying to transmit a recorded

Just upgraded to 2.4.9 SmartSDR and the audio playback no longer comes out of my speakers connected to my 6700 when I try to transmit a recorded CQ.    Plays back fine when I click PC Audio.  Did something change?

    You must select Dax to hear your recording

    OK.  Also running 2.4.9 on a 6600 and have DAX 1 selected.  I can retransmit recorded audio but it does not come through the speakers connected to the radio/  I do not have PC Audio/remote enabled.  What am I missing?
