Attached is a guide for Mac users wishing to operate digital modes without resorting to an external sound device. It's not quite DAX, but it's close!

Thank you George for your great job. Can I ask you how could be solved (under OSx) the interface with other devices like dynamic antenna and PA?
Thank you in advance and happy new year to all Flexers

Hi Luciano -- Wow, you are asking a big question. Elecraft amplifiers have an OS X utility. MacDoppler and MacLoggerDX support rotator control for several different types. I don't think station control is as advanced as it would be on Windows (with DDUtil, etc.) but it works okay.

    Hi George
thanks for your reply. I wanted to ask, just to better understand your configuration, if you use DogPark SDR exclusively barefoot or if you hold two simultaneous sessions OSX and Win who assigned different tasks. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Luciano, I usually run just the OSX side of things. No need for anything on Windows, since FLDIGI and WSJTX both have excellent Mac support. MacLoggerDX is Mac native, and handles spotting and logging very well. I occasionally open a Windows session to run satellites (transverter and multiple panadapter support are not ready in DogParkSDR) or for FSK441 meteor scatter (WSJT10 Windows version is the only app I have for that mode).

There are several new developments. First off, the excellent xDAX and xCAT applications bring a lot of functionality to the Mac. Sound Siphon has a new version, and Loopback is another app that works the same way and like a dream. Don’t update to MacOS Mojave yet, as it is unsupported in both audio apps. xDAX at http://dl3lsm.blogspot.de/ Sound Siphon at https://staticz.com/soundsiphon/ Loopback at https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/

Thanks George, I downloaded Sound Siphon but not really sure how to set it up. I am sure I can figure it out by trial and error but was hoping your PDF would help. I also have the xDAX and xCAT but again not much for guides on set up with Dogpark SDR. At some point when I get it all figured out I will do a tutorial video which may help others.  Thanks. Here is a working link to the old doc. It references older versions, but should get you started. https://www.dropbox.com/s/t8g6i64x4s8yocs/Sound Siphon and DPSDR.pdf?dl=0
