    Hello Flex users,

I bought one, tested on the bench with my sig gen and spectrum analyzer.  Works as advertised!
I love the xvtr integration with the 6300.  Don't push more than 2 Watts if you want linear operation.  Anything over will go into compression.  I use with a Mi Rage B310G.  Again anything over about 50 Watts is fine for FM, but not for linear operation.

    Best, John KB1YFD

We don't need the attenuator option at all.

Would this combination work with the Flex6300.

I just bought the assembled 2m transverter last month and am still testing it.  I picked up a VHF/UHF watmeter at the Dayton/Xenia Hamvention so I can test power drive, etc.

My first surprise was how sensitive the xvtr is to drive.  I have had to turn my XVTR port output WAY down to keep from running it at full blast (15 Watts).  I am trying to stay below 1.5 - 2 Watts for spectral purity, and it doesn't take much drive for that.  I have only made one SSB contact so far, but a lot of repeater work out to 40 miles with my beam at 45 ft.

I hope to do some July Tropo on 2 Meters this summer.

Ken, this has always interested me, I have thought of doing this for a while. Nice to hear what your learning and glad it is working well for you. Is there lots to set up to get this working?

I have one of the ukraine 144/432 transverters available if anyone is interested $60 shipped US.

I bought both DEMI 50 watt transverters and no longer need this.

I also have a transverter store 432 that works good $50 shipped US.

And I have a 144 transverter store that works but developed an issue when it has been on for a while it will intermittenly go into transmit on its own. make an offer

At FDIM this year J. Duffey, KK6MC gave an excellent presentation on adding UHF and VHF capability to your QRP station.  Out of that talk I saved a link that might be of interest to all who have the Converter-Store devices.

I think that the 30ppm Lo stability is really lacking and I agree with KK6MC's evaluation of these transverter.

I have just ordered one of these Ukrainian transverters (boxed without attenuator) for 2m.  I'd be very appreciative if someone who already has one could either post or email me a screen grab of their XVTRs Form in PowerSDR where they have configured it.

I've got the opposite opinion out of everyone here. I ordered one prebuilt. Transmit worked great. Would not receive anything. I emailed to see if there was something internal that needed to be adjusted and got the response. "I test everything before shipping, I don't provide support" plugged it into another HF radio and got similar results. Transmit worked great, would not receive. Finally I gave up and ordered a DEMI transverter and chalking the transverter store transverter as a loss.

Yes.  Received.  Works perfectly and I am very happy with it.  I have only used it to work via local repeaters and occasional simplex on S10 but I am happy enough for the price.  It is also a good size to carry both my Flex 1500 on business trips.
