2.2.8 update

Update went smooth, I uninstalled and cold booted as suggested.

2.2.8 seems to have fixed my Ethernet signal strength problem, I new it was software.100% all the time now.

Ok heres my rant, like the s meter, like split, like dax and cat load options, praise given.

ANF still sucks and still the squelch for ssb is disabled, I still cant understand that.

But I guess new logos and such is more important to some.

The Squelch function works fine on FRStack.

yes and the voltage and temp in sdr monitor works great too.....opening so many programs is nonsense.

Every other radio i have has these common basic functions, even power sdr had a squelch that was'nt disabled in ssb and the ANF worked great......

So much basic stuff ssdr is missing

Your missing the point of SSDR, it is made to work with other programs. It is not nonsense. All the programs are writen to work with the flex as an extension of SSDR.

Having to chase functionality across multiple third party applications is less than ideal. Intrinsic functionality is better functionality.

I'm very satisfied with my 6700. It's an amazing rig

Bill and others,
My 3rd party app can control almost every function in SSDR while SSDR is running. That includes volume, adding slices, selecting bands, everything except displaying a panadapter of my own while SSDR is running.
My question is, would you be happy if you HAD to use a 3rd party app such as mine to control all those BASIC functions instead of them being intergrated into SSDR as they are?
My bet is you wouldn't like it. More so, if you had to pay me to get those BASIC functions.
Not one of the things like a WORKING ANF or ALL MODE SQUELCH, is anything uncommon to ALL HF transceivers. Be they SDR or otherwise. K5ROX nor I and many others, are asking FRS to put every single thing imaginable in SSDR. Just put what was already in PowerSDR and every other radio on the market......BASIC, WORKING, FUNCTIONS.
Nothing more, nothing less.
