i am using Flex 3000 , i have an amp ameritron al 80b do i need  the interface  ARB-704 ?

  I am not familiar with the 3000 but I own and have used the 80B with many newer radio's such as IC7600, FTDX5000D, Flex 6400M without any interface box.
