SmartSDR Cat Software User's Guide with Bookmarks

Hi All - Two days ago I posted the file for SmartSDR-Software-User-Guide with Bookmarks.

 In this thread I will provide that link as well as a new link for SmartSDR-CAT-User-Guide with Bookmarks.

In this case the index was setup to direct you to the page indicated however you must always get back to that page to select another page. A simple bookmark of the index page would do that. I still believe that all these docs should be created with bookmarks enabled as it is so much better for us the end users.

    I went through all of the documents a few months ago and made this change, but we haven't published some of them since then, so some of the public versions still have the static Table of Contents.  All future releases will have the active Table of Contents.

    Thank you Ray for another fantastic insert to SmartSDR CAT.
    If you keep this up: I hope Flex would consider havig you do their manuals.
    Personally, your works are much easier to follow and in many area they are easier to understsnd: For those of us that maybe not be tech savvy.

    Hi Dave - The Software Cat does have the links provided but if only the TOC has links you must each time enter the page number to get back to the TOC. Like I said above if only the index page is bookmarked them you could get back quickly. The best way is to have bookmarks added so you can go anywhere in the doc by selecting the bookmark. I provided the file I updated to Matt months ago and he said he would forward it to the people that would take care of it. So I must ask why is it so hard to get something published if you made the changes months ago? I believe the best way to allow all to look thru and study the information is to have both the TOC and bookmarks active.

    Thank you for the comment - FRS does a great job in laying out the manual I have just made it easier to get the area desired with very little effort.

    The current SmartSDR CAT USer Guide V2 has bookmarks implemented.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
