Pop or crackle heard at power on and off

At the time I press the power button to turn the system on or when the system completes its shutdown, there is an audible pop or crackle heard. It is not terribly loud, but does bring up concern about DC getting to the internal speaker from which the sound originates. It does not seem to matter if the internal speaker is enabled in SW. Is this notable behavior, or exhibited in all of the systems?

I hear that from my powered speakers. But,if I disconnect them, and use the internal speaker, that doesn't happen. I had the same thing with the 6500 and the 6300 I had. I leave the powered speakers on and set to full volume. ( I adjust the volume for listening using the controls in SmartSDR or when I had a Maestro, the volume control on the Maestro. Same for the new 6600M I have.
I don't think there is a problem with the radio. Just having the powered speakers on at some level that is high, causes the pop you hear when you power the radio off.

The is a result of the voltage decay in the audio amplifier and is not anything of concern.0
