What is MAB?
MAB is the acronym for Magic Antenna Box, or Magic Box of Antennas. MAB is both an intuitive and sophisticated control control for easy-to-use antennas and transceivers with three modes of operation, such as Normal Antenna Switch, such as SO2R for antennas and Stack Match. It is based on two microprocessors capable of controlling up to four transceivers and sixteen antennas and / or band filters, manually, where the user is the one who handles the controller or automatically, where is the transceiver or transceivers who controls it. All MAB software is fully upgradeable by the user in a simple way. MAB allows to use boxes of relays of 12 or of 5 Volts, selectable internally. They can also use relays at 24V but need external power from this voltage in addition to 13.8 Volts from their normal supply. MAB will activate each of the relays with positive voltage, being the mass common to all relays so it is possible to use the vast majority of relay boxes for antennas on the market.1 -
