Is Carbonite compatible with Flex ?

I have a subscription to Carbonite running on another machine, which I plan on shutting down. I am thinking on moving it over to the machine which runs Flex 6xxx.
It seems a long time ago I read where they are not compatible, and Carbonite screws up Flex.. If that is the case, I'll just let it expire.
Anyone else running this combo?
BTW running latest and greatest ver of Flex.

Not the answer to the question you asked, but in case you don't get one about Carbonite: I can attest that Backblaze has been running here for the last 14 months with my Flex and with zero issues.0

The issue it that when a cloud type backup, regardless of the type runs, depending on your Internet throughput, it may result in dropped packets between the PC and the radio. The SmartSDR software itself has no known incompatibilities with Carbonite.0

I have used both the 6500 and the 5000A with Carbonite on Windows 10 and have had no problems.0

I am running a 6500 on a Win 7 Dell Workstation with Carbonite and no issues. My computer is also dedicated with no extra stuff.0

Carbonite and most other cloud based backup programs pass a high volume of data across the network. As Tim mentioned above "this can result in dropped packets". One thing you can try is to reduce the run time priority of Carbonite. When run at a lower priority, it should free up resources enough to no longer cause you any issues with SmartSDR.

I have used Carbonite along with Flex since the earliest days of SmartSDR with never had a problem. That includes three different computers and a 6300 and a 6500.0

I use Crashplan (similar to Carbonite). Crashplan doesn't use a lot of bandwidth, it can be throttled and it can also be configured to use less CPU when you are using the computer. I would imagine that Carbonite has similar features, but I've never used it.0
