Demo video: Flex 6500 and WSJT-X running 4 bands simultaneously

Hi folks, I'd like to thank the generous writers in the community. I got my 6500 running four copies of WSJT-X, in 4 slices, 4 different bands. It was quite seamless and simple to do, thanks to the awesome Tutorial written by DH2ID. The tutorial is here: https://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/tutorial-setting-up-wsjt-x-with-smartsdr I did a video of the results, at the request of a friend in the Oakville Amateurs Radio Club:

Hermann,
How do you have your noise reduction set up in the Flex?0 -
For digital modes, it is best to properly set the AGC for maximum SNR than use any type of DSP noise mitigation.0

Tim,
What caught my attention is that the noise level on the waterfalls dropped over time (in Hermann's video) and he talked about the noise reduction learning the characteristics of the channel and adapting to it. I see no change in waterfall noise level using any DSP noise reduction mode. What is he doing differently?0 -
My experience running digital modes is that DSP NR "colors" the recovered signal whereas AGC-T does not.
What I see @ ~3:00 is the auto back level of the waterfall adjusting; there is no actual SNR improvement. Watch the panadapter and you see no change in the noise floor compared to the signal,0
