flip panadapters and slices

New Flex 6500/SmartSDR user, first post.
I'm using CAT and DAX with external programs, such as fldigi. I'm constantly finding the need to swap which panadapter is at the top of the display and to be able to swap slices across panadapters.
For instance, I've got a profile for a digital mode that has 40m in a panadapter with slice A, and 20m in a panadapter with slice B. I've got fldigi connected via DAX to slice A. I'd like to now switch from 40m to 20m. I need slice A to become slice B.
I could create another profile that swaps them, but at that point I lose any other settings I may have applied during that session.
Is there a quick swap of panadapters or slices I'm missing? Or am I not using something as intended?

In CAT config a port for each slice you will have active, might as well do all 4 slices. Then check out the FLDIGI manual for running multiple instances: http://www.w1hkj.com/FldigiHelp-3.21/html/operating_multiple_copies_page.html You can have multiple FLDIGI apps running concurrently.
