I have a client connected to my Flex-6500 as a "gui" client.

When sending "remote_audio rx_on 1" the Radio responds by starting an Opus stream but the command reply is "50001000" which seems to indicate a problem. I would have expected a "0" reply indicating no problem.

I've used Wireshark to verify that the same response is being sent to SmartSdr when the Remote button is selected.

The "remote_audio rx_on 0" command also receives a "50001000" reply but seems to work correctly.

    Doug,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  I have added #4583 in our bug tracking system to address this.  As you noted, I don't think there is any harm in using the function as it looks like it is just the reply that is incorrect.

    Thanks Eric,

you are correct, it doesn't seem to stop anything from working. I just thought I was doing something wrong. When I noticed it happening with SmartSDR, I decided I should ask.
