Smartsdr iOS app and ptt

Has anyone successfully tried a bluetooth ptt mic with an ipad or iphone and the smartsdr ios app? Thought id ask before i buy one to try. Didnt know if external ptt would function with the app. Here is an example of a mic in question I used to use an app called Zello that i had linked into my DMR repeater system to operate it via the app when out of networks coverage area. But didnt know if that functionallity was coded in the app, like it was in Zello.
