fldigi and voice meeter banana

I have been running voice meeter banana as a audio log for my NPOTA activations.and when I activate a county for the county hunters. Last night I thought I'd get away from the contest and work some psk31. I started fldigi and no receive. Nothing on the waterfall. I checked and re checked every setting and could find nothing. Then I closed the voice meeter program and fldigi came to life. Played with it today to verify and it happens every time. If the voice meeter program is loaded and I start fldigi ,no receive. on fldigi. If I start fldigi first then I can start voice meeter and all works fine. I tried the same using Audacity and there is no conflict. I cant see this being a huge problem and the problem is probably not with fldigi. Just thought I would pass on the information in case someone else can not figure out why fldigi is not working. 73 roger

It works great to record both xmit and rec. As someone said in another conversation it takes a little fiddling to get set up. I use it to proof all my activations. Out of about every 100 Q's I will type in a cal as w1acb instead of w1abc. I always seem to swap the last two. Anyway it's interesting to hear what I didn't hear the first time.
