ThumbDV: How open ?????????

This may qualify as the dumbest post ever... but is there a trick to opening the ThumbdV that arrived from Flex today?  I don't want to break it by using too much force but I can't get the cover off so that I can plug it in to the Flex . I gave it a few good tugs but nothing shows signs of moving.

Andrew the cover is very difficult to remove. I had to resort to pliers.

With the cover mine came in, I just slid a fingernail under the locking tab and lifted slightly, and it popped open. I don't know if they still use the same cover though.

Not easy to actual find a locking tab with my eyes.

Mine too. I guess that's another reason why hammers were created.
I haven't seen my hammer lately either. You may find getting that cover back on, or even attaching it to the **** end of the dongle for storage, challenging too. I do at least.image

This is why I have 9 pairs of the magnifying reading glasses you get at the drugstore lying around the house.  Seriously.

    Hi Andrew,

Apply a bit of pressure on the sides of the cap and that will make removal way easier.

    Success!!

It also helps if you apply a bit of pressure with the other hand on the flat side of the thumbdv.

It's like those pesky child proof caps should have given it to the kids :)

Yes, with a knife..  I was worried I broke it but it works well.
