Assistance with RTTY and MMTTY

I have been a long time user of MMTTY...but with the Flex 6500 I have found things are just a little different.
I have MMTTY transmitting and receiving but I'm having issues when I click on a spot. I see a station on my spotting network and click on the spot… it does not change to the correct frequency...it’s in the area but not on the frequency specified in the spot.
I have MMTTY Mark Tone set to 1445 and the NET selected. The Flex is set up on DIGL...Can someone give me some suggestions on what I can do to correct this issue...
Thanks in advance

The Flex uses the classical 'high' tone frequencies, could this be your problem?

Thanks for the reply Neal...I'm not sure...It seems like an offset issue to me...I was hoping that someone working with a Flex and MMTTY might have experienced this issue and could point me in the right direction.

Also, you should try the RTTY mode instead of DIGL. Lands right on spots for me with that. (caveat: I use WriteLog's API to run MMTTY along with the Flex, but only for the trans/rcv, not for clicking on spots.)1

When using MMTTY, use RTTY mode on the flex. Also, check the offset number in the RTTY area of the slice pull down menu. There is setup info in the user manual.0

Sounds like a sweet spot issue and using the wrong mode and or a combination of both.0

Thanks for the information...I will start using the RTTY mode...

Also check the Mark and Shift setting on the DSP tab in RTTY mode if you dont use 'standard' tones.

I just looked to remind myself. In RTTY mode on the 6000 series, go to the DSP pull-down on the slice flag and you can define the Mark Frequency and the shift. This will make your click-tune function properly. That is except for many of the spots on the spotting network are inaccurate, or listed as the SSB carrier frequency for those using other Digi programs without making compensation for frequency reporting.0
