Tracking Maestro issues

If I remember correctly there has been issues with some Maestro units where HelpDesk requests were submitted. Is there some way for us customers to know the status of those issues? I am thinking we may have to wait and read the release notes for future software releases, but that does not seem to help when the issues may not have been caused by a programing problem. As a future Maestro owner (waiting for my late pre-order) it would be nice to know how these issues have been or will be corrected.

I'm in the same boat Larry (waiting on late pre-order), and yes, that information would be great to know. I've been following the Maestro issues threads closely and it's tough to tell whether the reported problems are due to the operator error or connectivity issues, the device itself, or programming.

Let met state that we are not aware of any hardware issues at this point. Virtuallly all of the wifi issues are related to the inherent operation associated with wifi in general. I can run perfectly on my deck for hours on 5G but not in our kitchen. It won't work at all on 2GHz because I can see 20 of my neighbors routers. Wifi is a DX pileup. You have to have the right router and set it up properly. You won't get good results if you have several neighbors on the same channel. We can't buffer for a minute or so like you do when streaming a movie. You want real time. Note that we ran 12 Maestros continuously on Ethernet in the booth at Dayton without issues. Gerald1

Thanks for the clarification Gerald. I recently picked up a ASUS RT-AC3200 Tri-band Router in preparation for my Maestro delivery. Hopefully this Router will do the trick.
