Insider Maestro edition 4 worry

In the above tome, it says,"As previously reported, we are planning a subsequent v1.8 release to add planned functionality that won't make it into v1.7".

Does that mean that not only will v1.7 have nothing for non-Maestro Flexers, but 1.8 will not either?

May I have some clarification please?

    Speaking of "new hardware" I purchased the Antenna Genius. It is really a slick unit although rather pricey. However, I think the firmware/software are the endeavors of the third party manufacturer.

    From Tim a couple of days ago...

    With SmartSDR v1.7, you can expect the initial release of Maestro which includes updated radio firmware, the SmartSDR for Maestro application (what runs on the Maestro hardware) and a version of SmartSDR for Windows that operates with the updated radio firmware. For non-Maestro users, the updates to the firmware are primarily of the "under the covers" type, where we discovered defects or better ways to implement existing functionality. The number of actual improvements to SmartSDR for Windows will be few for this release since the entire focus was on releasing Maestro.

    The SmartSDR v1.8 release will include some of the first release features we were not able to get in SmarSDR for Maestro before the release date and several contesting features that did not make the SmartSDR v1.6 cut. I anticipate that there will be additional features, but since we have not done release planning or started alpha testing, there really isn't anything more we can share at this time.

    (Opinion) Bug fixes and performance enhancements for 1.7 users without Maestro. Some nice feature bumps in 1.8 for all users. (/opinion)

    From the April 5th Flex Insider:

     "Based on the latest software issue review, SmartSDR for Maestro v1.7 is projected to be ready for release between the middle and end of April based on the statistical probability range of the remaining open issues." 

    We are already past the middle, now we wait until the end of April!

    Here is Tim's answer to same question recently!!!!

    , Thanks to those who pointed out Time answer. It also looks like we are in a period of infrequent releases too.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
