Expert 1K-FA Cat Control - RX Power

Hello new Flex owner and just got cat working between pc and Expert.  Using SmartSDR Cat to connect to Expert on a serial port.  Works fine except I notice that I can not adjust RF power levels when in operate mode.  Have to switch to stby.  I have max power set to 20 watts in the radio setup.  Seems it is using that as the value when in operate.   Assuming it has to be cockpit error.

    You need to use ddutil program which will give you full control of expert amp when running smartsdr..will autoset power level and band switch. check it out here.

    Paul,  thanks for your advice.  I got it working with both ddutil and SmartSDR Cat now.   Had to change Expert to Kenwood and now she works like a champ.   thanks again.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
