CAT and DAX on second computer

I saw a post from Steve, N5AC, that you can run SSDR on one computer and connect to the Flex via DAX and CAT on another computer. I see a potential here for running digital modes while controlling the Flex with a Maestro. Is that something that is planned?

    Mark,
It should work out of the box with Maestro..  Works now, except no maestro yet.

I trust that N1MM+ on a computer keying my 6300 will also work with the Maestro.  I currently run SSDR and N1MM+ on the same computer configured to return focus to N1MM+, and tune freq with the Flex control.  I also use this for mobile contesting and it works fine, but looking forward to the same thing with Maestro replacing the Flex control and ssdr mousing.
