DAX loosing connection?

Occasionally DAX v1.4.16 just seems to stop talking to the 6700.  The DAX channel will go yellow and I can not get it to start communicating again without shutting down DAX and restarting it.

I wasn't sure if this had been reported already or if it is a problem unique to my environment.
