5000A Transverter Power Output Adjustment

                    Hi to all community members.  Please can someone assist?  Reference the transverter output XVTX/COM on a 5000A, the manual states adjustment is possible form 0dBm to +5dBm.
On the XTVRs Form, Power is adjustable up to 100, but does anyone know please how this relates to the dBm output figure.
For example, at the maximum setting of 100, is that the +5dBm (3mW) setting. Does a setting of 33 equate to 1mW (0dBm)? Any help would be appreciated. I've had the 5000A for two years now and just love it, though I confess that 'm still learning.

            It is relative. The transverter output is not calibrated or set to a absolute known value; it should be between 0 and +5 dBm. So you will first need to measure the output level on the IF frequency of interest so it is a known quantity. If the output is +5 dBm, then 50% of scale should be in the neighborhood of 2.5 dBm. It is a mostly linear control, but not absolute. I would not use it if you need very accurate power output levels.0

            At that IF, I would suspect that the gain would be closer to +5 than to 0 dBm.0
