6300 Locking up

I was in the middle of a 6M CW  QSO when things locked up for 10 seconds.  I have had this happen in the past while just listening so I don't believe it has anything to do with RFI.  DAX was turned on because I some times use CWF to save my fingers.
Using 6300, latest software.  Windows 8.1, 16gb memory the only computer on my home network.

    Hi Bob - do you mean "CWX" when you say CWF?  If so, you don't need DAX on to use CWX.  I found when I was having a lot of these "freezes" that after I disabled DAX (on the DAX control panel), the problem went away.  Strangely, it stayed away for a long time after I re-enabled DAX!  Tim says they're working on this problem, but try the DAX disable for a bit and see if that helps.

    Bob - this is a known issue and we are working on a fix for the next release of SmartSDR.
