Heil Sound PR 40 Equalization

While I´m waiting for cable CC-1-XLR-Y-BAL arrives  to connect  my Heil Sound PR40 to Flex 6300, I wonder if anyone knows: PR40 Equalization  profile exists anywhere?

    I use the PR-40 and I think its personal and you have to create a profile to match your voice.
    The PR-40 does have quite a bit of low end so you might have to compensate for it.

    Default HM-Pro seems to do a good job for my PR40

    On my 6700 I have to have 2 different profiles.  One for SSB and another for FM. Here's a place to start.

    2 different ones for SSB you can use as a starting point.

    SSB1: 0, 0, -4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 0
    SSB2: -8, -7, -5, -3, 2, 7, 8, 0
    FM: 5, 8, -1, 6, 7, 8, 8, 0

    If you find a setting that you really like and you get good reports over the air, PLEASE POST THEM.

    George, The 6300 doesn't have a balanced mic. i/p, so will the CC-1-XLR-Y-BAL cable work?

    One Thing I watch closely when I bought a product is customer service...and FlexRadio Customer Service is the best...I haven't  met Tim Ellison, but he's amazing Customer Experience Manager.....Here is the answer to my question I sent to him directly:

    "We made a grounding change to the internal mic circuit on the FLEX-6300 earlier this year that makes the input essentially balanced.  The ACC-CC1XLRY-BAL is the correct mic cable for the FLEX-6300 and the PR40 or PR781. "

    Thanks Norm (N2LEE)......I apologize for my late reply to you (lot of work)...Thanks for share with me and community  your profiles for Heil PR40, I will create SSB today (both) to test, and I promise I will do the same with FM profile...as soon as I could upgrade to 6700 hehehe :)   Thanks ...hope catch you on bands!

    I'm sure a good balanced to unbalanced adapter will do the trick nicely.

    All, I ordered an equivalent cable to the Heil one, that is made in the UK using quality components, but half the price. Thanks for the guidance.

    Only if you use FM.  If you do use FM and you don't have a separate profile, it will sound absolutely terrible.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
