Display the frequency while sliding the mouse

Maybe this has been discussed before but I can't find it on a search.
Would it be considered an enhancement if there was an, on demand, pop-up box (or even a custom mouse pointer) displaying the frequency of the spot where the mouse is positioned as it is moved along the 'noise floor area? Then click the mouse and you have instant, accurate QSY.....even an "Undo' function could be considered.
I know we do a part of that now, but I'm talking about a frequency display before the actual QSY, not after-the-fact as we have now.
As an example, if I want to qsy to 14.030 I have 3 choices;
1) On the slice or the control panel, swipe the existing freq. with the mouse, then
type-in the desired freq.
2) Mouse click on the panadapter, to a place as near to the desired freq. as
possible, then adjust by rolling the mouse wheel.
3) Use add'l CAT software.
Why not just hover over the freq. with the 'proposed' readout and click...done?
I don't know if this can be done, just food for thought....or discussion

PowerSDR does that nicely! It would be nice If SmartSDR did it too. If it hadn't already been suggested it has now. If it has been, it's still a reminder. Better than whining that it doesn't do it.
It's now been seconded, so when they get the time, I hope we get the feature.
