V1.4 Remote LAN & Locally Connected Balanced Microphone

V1.4 questions:

1) If one was to hook up their local computer to the Flex via Remote LAN, will the balanced microphone input and local CW key still work?

I guess I'm just curious more than anything.  I think the only reason I'd ever want to do this would be to do away with the local powered speakers directly connected to the Flex.  One could use the speakers attached to the PC and get rid of one more thing in the shack.

2) Will Remote LAN provide ALL of the same functionality that SmartSDR does?  If not, what can we expect?

The answer to #1 is yes.  I am running it that way in the shack.

#2 - remote does not support:
    1. Keyer paddle input.  This will require external hardware and will be in a future release.  CWX is supported.
    2. Full break in QSK.  This requires local keying at the radio.
    3. Multiuser GUI client access to one radio.  Only one client can connect at a time.
There may be something else I am missing but those are the two I recall at the moment.
