best video monitor for smartsdr

I like a 4K monitor. It's like having four monitors on one screen.

The DELL 28" screen works nice for me. There are some low priced options.

Since I do digital modes there is a need to have a lot of windows open.

Would attach a screen shot but it's too big.

I'm still using a 4K 39" Seiki monitor, via hdmi.  39" for a monitor is insane, almost too big but I like it. Almost wish I had another one next to it (I'm weird like that).

If you go the 4k route, keep in mind it is 4 times the pixels of a regular HD monitor, so don't go with a cheap video card - it could use a little extra processor horsepower on the video card. But having said that, I also have another one of those monitors as my primary TV in my living room, attached to an Intel NUC computer which was only $500 and I can watch netflix full screen on it with no problems (well, very few problems).

Robbie, can u share a picture of SmartSDR running on the 4k monitor? The more I read about it the more convinced I am that 4K might be the way to go.

Look, you can fit 4x1080p monitors in a 4k (resolution wise)
