With the radio powered on and SmartSdr not running I get audio spiking on the DAX Reserved IQ 1 .Sometimes it spikes up about half way up. Here is the thing when the antenna is un-hooked it all goes away. Remind you this is without SmartSdr running. So on my part RFI issues I suppose.. Anyone else seen this?  It is not continuous but it jumps up from time to time.

Computer mic and computer speakers and deskmic for radio all unplugged just cat-5 and power and antenna hooked up.

I rebooted to verify no other audio was going on.

Time for some Ferrite Beads .......

OK Solved. DAX Control Panel was on. Turned off and all is ok. Must be the way radio is continuously working while powered up. Still doesn't explain un-hooking the antenna. Maybe soundcard crosstalk or something.
